Door handle issues.

When opening drivers door from outside, the handle only really starts to undo right at the top of the pull. Can you adjust or fix this ??

Hi,
got the same issue here.
I've bought the pulley cable for the door handle but never had the time to change it.
Let me know how you manage ton fix that.

just a guess but it could be the bowden cable over-stretched, so needs replacing! mine sometimes in heat used to be like that.

yes been reading a lot about that, it sound more and more it could be that.
Don't know if its a big job to remedy ???

If you have a search on YouTube for BMW Z4 door card removal you'll find a video of a guy doing speaker replacement and he shows you how to remove the door card.

watched that, looks straight forward. Just need to find out how it fits to handle etc.
