Hi, i'm replacing the actuator in my drivers door lock and noticed a crumbled plastic type grommet / cover lying in the bottom of the door. I think i have identified where it comes from but can't find a diagram of it at all on realoem. Does anyone know what the part number might be? Thanks for any help.

Pretty sure its just a way of smoothing out the operation of the lever, the metal inner is riveted to the arm and the plastic cover is fitted before the rivet so I am fairly sure the plastic cover is not replaceable hence you won't find it on Real OEM. I doubt this missing will hinder the operation of the mechanism.

Yes i think you are right. I've put it all back together and it all works fine....It was just a bit disconcerting to find the remnants of the part and not fully understand where it came from or whether it affected the workings of anything important.
