We've just been reminiscing on Z3M Coupe Forum site about the above event, to see it any of the attendees still had there car. We have one owner who does indeed still does own the car he used for the event. The Forum arranged a group meeting as way of supporting Rod Barrett & Hawthorns Motorsport and the Big Fish Racing team who each had a Z3 MC entered in the opening round the British GT Series on the 3rd April 2005.
It turned out we set a world record (unofficial) with 67 Coupes attending. I attended with my first Z3 M Coupe, my present car has identical factory spec although I didn't realise that until after I bought it.
A few photos from the event. (I tried twice to get the pictures in the right order but for some reason they come out muddled up )
I met up with 4 other owners at Woodall Services and had a hoot of a convoy drive down to Donington Services
The infield area where we all lined up
Panoramic view of 60 odd Z3 M Coupes
The two Z3 M Coupe taking part in the racing
Donington Services - If I recall we had 43 Coupe there prior to convoy to the circuit.
