The Doncaster show for 2015 returned to its original venue at the Doncaster School for the deaf, after a brief 1 year foray to the neighbouring racecourse.

The switch back worked, with a very enjoyable somewhat carnival atmosphere to the whole show. On top of a fantastic varied selection of old and new vehicles on display. We had live music throughout the day from two very talented young ladies forming a ABBA tribute group along with a lively Rocker Billy band.

Plenty of Catering units, trade stands and stalls of interest, to top it all adequate toilet facilities, now that is a first!

Zroadter.org and Zroadster.net forums joined forces with the BMWCC to produce a very varied and impressive display of cars. On the day we had 10 Z3'S 3 Z4'S and a very popular car on the day Andy Stevensons Z1. Amongst the other 11 BMW's we had two Alpina's, once again lots of interest in these two, along with the 4 M3's a 328 Snitzer and two absolute cracking E30's from the two Steve's. The variation of cars on show were further added to with Howards 635, Andy's compact and a rare site at one of our shows Wills X3 3.0D.

The Z crews were shaken early doors by some unexpected rain, but after the initial down paw it was sunshine all the way. Some great banter and also much Z experiences and knowledge swap took place
A great day for the exhibitors, visitors and traders. A big well done to the Rotory club of Doncaster St.George and the Classic car club of Doncaster for organising such a wonderful event.
Already looking forward to doing it again next year.

It was a lovely day, thanks for organising,Paul. I didn't enjoy getting up at 6.30am though !! Weather was great and we both got burnt by the sun. A big well done to the Rotarians and the Traditional Car Club of Doncaster. Lots to see and some lovely cars to look at. Also good to get together with old friends and meet new ones. I'm sure Richard @Macca will post some pics later.

Sorry I couldn't make this one guys but my M is in bits at the moment trying to resolve an idling issue which I think I have found then it is straight for MOT.

Looks like you had a great day and both Mark's and Wayne's ///M's look stunning just a pit I could have been there to make it a trio.

There was 650 cars on display,

I fell in love with one of them.

A silver 75 with black leather interior!

bloody sexy about an E-Type,
They are one of the few "timeless" cars I think Mike, when it impressed Mr. Enzo Ferrari himself that says it all for me.

The GT40 was a classic (I enjoyed watching Clarkson trying to get himself in the one in their studio - p***** my self laughing at him then) but the Lancia was one of my all time favourite rally cars, to be honest Lancia made some of the best looking and best performing rally cars that I can remember. When they showed that Stratos look-a-like on Top Gear with the Toyota mechs I really fancied one of those.:):)

Clarkson bought one of the new ones at the time, think it was 1990's? (GT 40)
Pity Lancia could not put anything on the road like their rally cars though.

Well they did in a way with the Delta Integralli. My old neighbour who we bought our plot of land from had a Delta which was a 1500 ish if I remember right (30 years and a few drinks ago). He was a track marshall at Cadwell Park at the time when, as he called them, " That Alan Frost and Elton Senna" were still racing in Karts.
