To be honest, after last years messing about this does not seem to be too bad! Easily fixed.

Sorry to hear that. After ending up in s similar predicament - no window, I would advise against trying to tape something in. I tried it and it blew out as I was getting onto the M4 never to be seen again.

It’s fine with no window. No mad noise. But put a cloth across the hoops/headrests in case it rains.

Do you have a garage for it in the meantime? I can lend you a half hood otherwise.

Thanks for the offer of a cover. I have managed to gaffer tape it all up for now as I do not plan to drive it for now, but will take it up if the weather gets really bad again. I am now booked into Jack Smiths on Feb 25th.

That's not too bad then. 11 days. I'm not currently in Swansea on Mondays. Otherwise I could have picked you up from there for a bite to eat.

It was an awful day last Friday when mine went in. I took a 10 min walk to the town centre and had a brekkie in The Potters Wheel which is a Wetherspoons.

It's not so much the temperature as the angle of the fold. If it doesn't start folding correctly then a cold brittle window will crack.
I have had one crack at 12 degrees, but equally I also have since folded many times in less than 3 degrees by watching and correcting the fold first.

Have to say most of the time when I drive with the top down it’s when my lad is with me.

We do it as a 2 person operation due to the dangers of it kinking and cracking. I operate it and James nudges it so it folds properly.

Good idea. A job for Ann Marie when the new one is fitted.
