wow, I didn't know the abs can be removed as well!Would be fine for mot if power steering removed as long as ALL ! associated components removed.
Same for ABS ( up to 2010 ) can be removed as long as ALL components ( pump, module,wiring, sensor etc ) removed the only thing you get away with leaving is abs rings that are part of driveshaft and can't be removed.
(After 2010 it is illegal to remove Abs and associated components.)

Yes but like I said you have to take out all the components ( so no lights on dash ) where the pump goes easiest idea I would have for that would bewow, I didn't know the abs can be removed as well!

Mk4 Vauxhall Astra came with or without ABS the pipes on non abs routed same way then where abs pump is there is a metal block the 2 pipes from master cylinder go in then 4 exit one to each wheel that would deal with pump then just a case of removing sensors and wiring and fuses relays etc

Easier with asc than Dsc due to less integration into the cars systems
