What is the problem with existing? I fitted a new one from dealer ~8 years ago and recall the `clip' around the change shaft is rather delicate so take care if refitting. I think the old one is still in `spares' cupboard but can't remember what actual fault was.

Hi, yes it’s the clip around the gear shift that’s broken.

Found my `spare' earlier but it was only top section. Take care on fitting it - haha
