Dirty rain!?

Hi,

Was a bit bemused to find both my cars covers in blotches yesterday. This is a picture of the Cooper's bonnet. Read somewhere today that it's supposed to be sand from the Sahara... Anyone else heard this?

Absolutly....my Z is filthy in a similar way to the photo of your Cooper, being Topaz it 'really' shows. x_x
The Sahara sand phenomena has happened before if that is what it is....
Guess it's getting the hose out tonight (now the ban has been dropped) and giving her a good spray to get rid of the sand castles and camel dung!!

We had the same dirty rain here too Gary. Gail's car was covered with this sand/dust this morning. Will get the hose out tonight and wash it off.

My Zed was tucked up in the garage, wouldn't have liked all that muck on my soft top.

Yes it is Saharan Sand - had it before a few times up here and thats what they said it was on the news when lots of people had phoned in about it

It's bad enough my zed is covered in Saharan sand but camel dung as well, that is too much!

Gaz's doesn't look bad, I am thinking of planting some date palms and coconuts on mine!
