Differential advice

Hi all just wanted to ask the knowledgeable people on here advice for removal and installation of my rear differential ..car in question is a 2.8 widebody is this an LSD diff or not and how hard a job is it at home on stands for the less mechanical minded of us lol ? Thanks

Careful guys pre facelift 2.8 it was an option, the facelift sport models came with LSD's granted it's more likely to have an LSD you wont know 100% till you check the Vin on VinDecoder.

Turning the car upside down makes it easier to work on?

Park it with one wheel on tarmac and the other on mud/grass, let the clutch out and see what happens. If it drives away it's got a LSD, if it sits with the wheel on the slippery stuff spinning frantically it hasn't. Simples.
