As a child who grew up listening to pop music in the 90's/early 00's, I'm not ashamed to admit I LOVED hearing Nsync - Bye Bye Bye in the new Deadpool movie and being reminded what a banging tune it is that's also an era I associate with MTV and the other music channels at the time, and as such I instantly associate that song with the Dodge Viper that features in a chase towards the end of the video - a car I loved when I was a kid.
Having recently watched Deadpool and riding a wave of nostalgia, I fired up YouTube and relived the Bye Bye Bye video, when what should I see, but the car chasing the Viper is none other than a Z3! Specifically a pre-facelift narrowbody (so 1.9, right?), And that Viper could not get away from the Z3 (no mater how many times they changed gear)!
Ok, so maybe not officially faster, but still...

(fast forward to 3:05 for the good stuff)
Not sure who's driving the Viper, but they aged about 30 years in this scene...
Look at that body roll!
