while sat scrolling about the tinterweb, the name De Tomaso popperd up with a short vid of a 1972 De Tomaso car, and i had forgotten how beutiful those cars were, and still are by the look of the new ownership.
Very exotic Italian, every one (apart from their 80s lambo countach look alike) is just stunning..

De Tomaso,

Pantera was one of my favourite 'pin up' cars from the '70s. They used a massive yank V8 apparently, which spoiled it a bit for me, but I didn't know that back then when I was a kid.

Same here, the Pantera GTS was my fav car when I was a kid

Snapped this at the Thoresby show a few years back 👍

They used a 302 cu. in Ford, and 351 cu. in Ford Windsor and Cleveland engines. I think most of them were sold by Lincoln Mercury dealers until the contract with Ford ended.

I worked on summer with a fellow that had a bright red Pantera. He called it his freedom ride, bought after he divorced his cheating wife :D. Beautiful car, LOUD V8 through a tuned exhaust. He refused to let me take it for a spin, the bugger!
