When I was looking for my first MC back in 2004 I looked at a number of cars (4 x MC & 1 x MR) travelling as far North as Edinburgh and South to London. At one point in the Nottingham area I looked at and test drove a MC & a MR within an hour of each other, the difference was very noticeable, with the MC being much more planted. The scuttle shake put me off the MR so the search went on for the right MC. Eventually the one from London was the one I bought.
So I can understand BMBabe's comments on her recent drive of Martin's MC in comparison to her own MR. The MR is good, but as she says the MC is a beast, a totally different machine.

Some people like Roadsters and some people like Coupes. Each to their own.
A bloke driving a Golf GTI parked near me today and he said what a fantastic looking car I had. It does attract a lot of admiring looks/comments, not bad for a pig in a frock!!

If I had the cash I would like both but back in the world of reality I’ll have to be the kid drooling at the shop window.
Back in the seventies I was a guitarist in a band, and our drummer often ended the night at most of our gigs with a Pig in a frock, but they were definitely not Coupes’.
