David

Oh dear, @oldcarman sounds a bit p***** off.........:D No way in hell was I ever going to ship the darn thing to Canada.
In all honesty, David had been asking me about the Wiesmann for close on to a year now and it was only fair to give him first refusal and he paid a fare price and came all the way over here to collect it and we had a great time as well, drinking @Stormy_be Belgian beer, thank's for for that @Stormy_be :thumbsup:well, as David had a long drive home to look forward to, I drank most of it and had the mother of all hang overs the next day......and then we had to get the hardtop on the car..!!

It was great to get to meet David and we tried a new (to me) retstaurant just up the road from me that did a fantastic curry that I did not even know you could get over here..!! Well, not in the town where I live.

David picked up some choice bits of kit from @Stormy_be and an added bonus was, while in storage at work, my hardtop had somehow, unknown to me, acquired an OEM BMW Storage bag, thank's boss....

Great weekend,....:D

David on his way back to the UK, right outside my front door.

Don't believe a word that A$$hole says!! JIM

Oh, and by the way Jimbo, just for the record, I have never ever discussed with you the possibiity of me selling the hardtop, so why the hell don't you just grow the f*** up......!!!!!

Come on boys play nice ;)
We're a friendly lot here ;)
Life is too short :)

Whoever buys Scarlett is getting an excellent deal now! ;)

Seeing as Scarlett would only be for sale as I'd be replacing her with another Z3, there's no way I'd be shifting the Wiesmann on with her haha

I think it's also safe to say, I will keep keeping her for a while longer. I looked at a few other Zeds nothing compared to Scarlett regardless of engine size.

For the record, you were never going to separate the HT from the car nor any of the options on it. Our conversations were always for the complete car not bits and pieces. You at no time ever indicated that you wouldn't ship the car to Canada, not that I can see what it would matter to you anyway as long as you got your money. Last we communicated you were still looking to restoring it to it's previous glory. So forgive me if I misunderstood your babbles and good luck breaking the rest of the car! JIM

Babbles? I was not going to sell the car as you say but a couple of weeks ago we got it up on a car lift and had a good look and not only had the front end had it, it had also been driven over something as there was a lot of bent stuff underneath.
I would never sell this car to a forum member as it was not financially viable to repair, more's the pitty and I am not breaking it, the car has gone.
