Dash painting help

I've managed to get hold of a Z3M black and red centre console, and to make it fit in (aesthetically) I will need to paint my dash.

Currently I have a black dash and will need to paint the centre section and around the vents red, so that it will look like this



Looking for some advice on how to prep and paint the dash, so that it doesn’t peal off. Also how to get a colour match for the paint.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Can you not wrap it along with the console centre ?
