I have one similar to the one James has posted above, but without the screen. Mine came from China somewhere and was cheaper than the UK with delivery only being a couple of weeks. Its quite small can be placed at the very top of the windscreen. Its pretty good and accepts a micro SD card upto 32GB to which it automatically records to, I also have it connected up to the screen I use for my reverse camera so I can see live footage or playback when needed. Only thing I have found is that the videos can be a bit jumpy when using playback on a laptop and night version is pretty poor but for the price its great. Also it has a crash sensor or something so that if it triggers it will start to automatically record.

I keep thinking of Physics class. Not all light passes through glass. some of it is reflected back. Which means the images of those reflections are reflected back. A good thing to remember if you're parked in the car with a little lady. Turn camera off............or whatever.

Or you could turn it around and share!

I have been thinking of getting that one myself for the zed as it is really small and in obtrusive plus as you say does get raving reviews. Where did you get yours from as the prices seem to vary widely for these?
Amazon for that one, they go out of stock really quickly once they come in. Waiting for one to arrive for my car, hopefully will come this week, (they ran out in the UK so is coming direct from China) so once installed i'll let you know

So in effect it's crap, but crap at a great price, great recommendation, nearly bought one........

So, on going with the dash cam, I've found that the one I'm thinking of getting is popular enough that you can get a spare GPS mount for the screen and power cable so that I could fit and wire up a mount in each of my cars and swap the camera from car to car. All for about an extra £20.
