Dash cam

Bought 1 of these and i have managed to import footage onto the lap top but can't work out how to upload it to posts on the forum .
So what sort of witch craft and sorcery do i have to perform to achieve this magic ?

I posted mine on YouTube then added the link to my post. If there's another way to do it directly I'd be happy to hear @GazHyde ?

As the chaps have already said you would need to load it to a video hosting service - such as YouTube - and then link to the file here!

Although we have the ability to host videos they take up a lot of disk space on the server. YouTube have a bigger budget for hard drive space than we do

Thanks @t-tony @GazHyde and @TWO looks like i'l have to get the young uns on the case,i wouldn't know where to start with you tube and all that.

The only account i have is with TSB .

If you log onto Youtube at the top of your page you should see the "Upload" button, click this and it should open your video files. You choose the one to upload and select it, but be aware it's a very slow process.

Just had our Tom onto it....youtube account opened.....vid uploaded....but can't suss how to do the link thing...so i am the weakest link !

Just ask him to show you how to copy and paste it into a thread. I had our Gary and Abbie to show me how.

Just simply cut and paste the YouTube rule into your post and the forum software should sort it out.

Click the "Share" link under any video and it will display the address for the video, then paste it straight in to the reply box like any other text!
