Agree Dave. The good lorry drivers go unnoticed.
Having had the unfortunate opportunity to stop a 42 tonner from 60mph cos the driver was asleep I've learnt that 42 tons at any speed is far more dangerous and unforgiving than 1.5.
The mass of a lorry is potentially far more destructive than a car at any speed. Simple physics.
I'm probably way more sensitive than most particularly to HGVs having on separate occasions been hit head on at speed by a car and from behind by a lorry. :(
