Any recommendations for a quality DAB aerial for my Z?
New radio installed but the aerial doesn’t function as an aerial. Suspect I would need to be parked next to the transmitter to get a signal.
Thanks

The Pioneer one I have is good with the Blaupunkt radio. The earth strip may also be the issue. Some aerials recommend that you remove the paint to ensure metal/metal contact. Not sure I would want to do that though to be honest.

Welcome to the world of aftermarket DAB & useless radio reception.
I have tried getting aftermarket DAB to work in 3 or 4 cars with various different bits of kit and never yet managed to get acceptable reception.

Seems this is pretty standard for retro-fit kit. I just gave up and now stream DAB stations from my phone via bluetooth.

There is a company that sells a range of DAB ariels - link below. I haven't used this company. The company I bought my powered Kinetic DRA 6003 Roof mounted ariel no longer trading, getting the correct ariel does make all the difference.

DAB, AM/FM & TV Car Aerials & Antennas (incarconnections.co.uk)

The Halfords item is worth giving a try at that price - £20

Lets us know how you get on.
