I had two very good ones today to make up from pot hole damage last Saturday morning putting a slight damper on the weekend.
Tyre would not hold pressure and suspected a buckled rim.
I went to Hewitts tyres in Banbury booked in for two Continental contact 6 as I’m junking the runflats that are on there contact 3 good grip but makes the ride harsher. As suspected near side front had a significant ding to stop the tyre holding pressure. The tyre fitter sent me on my way to http://www.sgmracepaint.co.uk/ who said they could help me out, said it would be a couple of hours but phoned me back after an hour and a half all done. They even linished off some corrosion on the inside and etched primed the surface. Cost £94 for the repair which I thought was not bad just turning up on there door step with cap in hand. I then went back and had the new tyres fitted quite competitively priced at £216 all in. I will be going back to both places for tyres and some wheel refurbishment. Only thing is I wish my wife stop spending my ///M money.
