Cup holders. What do you recommend?

I've seen the Z3/E36 ones that go in the centre console by the handbrake, and ones that attach to the dash or heater vents. I wouldn't like to put a hot drink there, but do they work?

As a tight Yorkshireman, I don't fancy spending £100 on a centre console one.

Which one provides best value for money?

Take along your wife/girlfriend/partner/friend and get them to hold your cup .

Yes, if you have that one you can add an arm rest as well

Here is one 3D printed that fits the Z3. Keeps the cup lower than the OE one, so less likely to be knocked by your arm changing gears.

I have the e 46 armrest which is hinged so it should work a treat in mine

I have the center console cupholder, with 2 slots for cups. Not too good for anything larger than a small convenience store coffee cup for me. I rarely drink anything when I'm driving
