Well today I thought I'd have a go at installing cruise control to my Z3 2.2i 2002.
Now I'll be the first to say I'm no mechanic and doing anything to do with car's isn't my bag but I've done it and it works so I'm chuffed to bits.

Nice one. Worst bit I had was finding the cable to plug in to the interface. Makes a big difference on the long journeys.

No Tony. I was hoping for my brother to stand over me but he wasn't up for it so as my neighbour is away I thought it would be a shame not to make use of his drive as normally I have to park on the road side

I found the plug easy Gaz for me the worst bit was trying to get the interface mounted and the plug from the stalk to the socket from the interface mounted in the end I gave up and cable tied them up.
What I find hard to believe how small the plug to the interface is. It's no bigger than mobile phone power socket

Thanks Brian. When I started I thought where was Brian when I needed you.
I used your write up but could work out how you mounted the interface and as for the plug and socket I gave up on that to so I've cable tied them up and works a treat. Thats to your write up.

Well done mate it feels good when you've jumped in at the deep end and it all works out .
My zed is the 1st car I've owned with cruise control and it's great especially on motorways and long journeys you'll love it ;).

Thanks Steve.
It didn't feel good when I started but I worked through the issues and really pleased with myself.
Ditto mate I've never had cruise control so it's all new to me.
