Has anyone fitted the crossmember sump guard?
does it make the car more rigid or is it not worth the effort to fit?

I’ve never seen that version before.
I don’t much like that big hole.
My son had one on one of his e36, but it was just a 10mm alloy panel..
We eventually fitted this. Originally was to have a panel, but we ran out of time. It did make the front stiffer.
I have the steel cut for a much stiffer version with a Kevlar panel, not had time to weld it up yet.
