Afternoon
I bought a creator 310+ to help with the maintenance of my Z3's.
However I am not remotely I.T. aware and can't get the thing to tell me anything at all, I just get the opening 6 pic screen. :rolleyes:
So I think 'maybe it needs updating' and load the accompanying CD onto my PC, only to find it won't do that either :(:mad: PC says no file found.
Anybody else had issues or just me ??
Don't worry you might embarass me with any comments, I happily admit to being off the pace with I.T.
 
I'm presuming that you're plugging it into the multi-pin connector under the bonnet?

(And not the OBD connector under the dash.)
 
Tried both. Same result
 
I posted on the local group to and Colin came back and has offered his advice. Much appreciated, it may be a duff unit. Nobody else seems to have had one. I believe he's in Cardiff, about an hour away. I could take a trip over and try his 310+
 
I have had one for around
5 years now plugged it into a number of zeds now never had any issues with it.

Will dig mine out take some pics on how mine works see if yours behaves the same way.

Thanks for the replies.
My 310+ doesn't 'do' anything. It powers up but just shows the six pictograms and none of the buttons seem to have any effect at all.

I have been to the website suggested, tried to download the update, and my computer just says it's not compatible with my PC ?? Won't download it.


The CD that came with it basically says the same. Maybe the last two things are PC related ? its about 5 years old, but that still doesn't explain the handheld unit not responding.

Waste of a day.:(

Thanks for the reply.
I've seen the vid and mine won't go past the first screen.
Don't worry about any pics, I'll probably try the Zedshed in Cardiff, see if Colins works on my car.
