Just had covid test result back positive ☹. A colleague at the hospital who I work next to had it last Wednesday and I started feeling I'll Friday, had a test Saturday and got positive result back today.

Sorry to hear that Pete, hope you soon feel better mate. Our Abz had a test at the main local test centre at the Showground and never got the result back after 5 weeks? Now they're under pressure like never before at LCH due to staff shortages.

Hope you feel better. I've had a negative test, but anyone can get it, at any time. Its just about reducing risk . . .
An ex-colleague (& wife) with young children are now pulling through, but he said there were two consequences of the lack of taste and smell:
1. They became reliant on the two young girls telling them when the toddlers nappy needed changing, &
2. When cooking they couldnt smell if something was starting to burn
The Law of unintended consequences . . .
But heres hoping you have the mild version and pull through quickly . . .

My Covid has been a struggle , been nearly 3 weeks now and haven’t got any energy, etc
But we’re both been very luck and haven’t ended up in hospital unlike some poor people
I count my lucky stars for that

Just coming out of my 10 days after testing positive. Nasty little virus this one but not so serious for me. Just lacked energy for a week and got Dizzy spells and shortness of breath. I've had worse colds but I guess it affects everyone differently. Good luck with the recovery and look forward to the immunity afterwards 
Not to bad , total lack of energy and still getting hot and cold sweats.
