My parents have been given a courtesy car from a main dealer while the towing electrics are sorted on their new car.

They were given an 2008 C30 for the day, but I was rather shocked to look at the condition of it... I'd be ashamed to hand they keys to this to a customer...

Probably a lot of fungi in the floor mats and carpet Shelly......;)
God knows what would be in/on the seats.

Even with our gravel roads there's no excuse for giving this to a customer and performing work on their car. I bought a Lada for point A to B transport from a Benz dealer and we drove on several miles of gravel roAds to our home. Every time the car was serviced it was cleaned. Every car we we given was spotless, as it should have been. Same when we did take the Benzs' in. Quality personal service. I'd be leery of this dealer.

What sort of corrosion is that?
I have that starting on wheels that have been diamond cut and lacquered (my Beyerns on the lips and from the centers on our Galaxy Ghia).
I've only seen it on diamond cut and lacquered wheels so thinking it's something that penetrates the finish. Looks 'organic'!

Sorry for thread hijack!

It's all under the lacquer, so guessing the water got underneath it somehow. They have a chrome effect to them which probably makes it worse somehow...
