We went on our own!
Just had a lot lovely few days down in the New a Forest!
What a fantastic place for a leisurely drive with scenery to boot.
No need for speed bumps the horses, cows and donkeys see to that!
Had a day at Beaulieu Motor Museum ,well worth the visit ,
Couple of days seeing various places,just a few pics to prove.

Certainly is Dave,and yes we did.Its about 45 tears since we were there
Last and I hope ‘‘tis not that long till we’re back.
Did quite a bit of the run you did earlier this year which was great!
Just over 700 miles in five days ,more than I did all last year:)
The guy where we stayed had a lovely MGR V8 so had a bit common.

Glad you enjoyed your run. You should have said and a few of us I am sure would have driven over to meet up.

Hopefully you will join us on one of the other runs too. :thumbsup:

Haven't been over there since the 60's so it will have to go on the list now. Glad you had a good trip mate.:thumbsup:

Lovely area to drive in a zed Brian .
We were lucky enough to join @pgunter cruise this time, my first visit there as well, impressive :thumbsup:.

Well if anybody wants a route, I will gladly point them in the right directions... it’s a lovely place to visit as long as you avoid the tourist bottlenecks.

Managed to avoid most of those whilst we were there but couldn’t avoid
A closed M40 and a stop start M 1:mad::mad::mad:
3 3/4 hours to go down from Donny:thumbsup:
7 hours to get back:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

So good to see that the motorways work so well. I often consider the faster option and then decide to take the older A roads that used to be the main routes. Its often a lot quicker at 55 than the motorways. Plus if you run into any issue you can do a good divert unlike being stuck between junctions on the motorways.

I would have taken the A34.. then up to the M40, one junction.. A43, A5, another quick few junctions on the M1 before the A46 up to the A1.. a much nicer route and a few great places to stop for a bit of lunch too.

I did take that route apart from diverting off the M1 to the A1.
I do prefer the A1 to the M1every time.when possible.
The problem we had was the M40 was shut between junctions
9 and 10 northbound:mad::mad: which created havoc on all roads around that area with everybody leaving the A43 just before junction 9.chaos!,,,,,l
