Cooper to the USA - where should I visit?

Hi! The wife and I will be doing a 7 day cruise out of Tx starting on the 28th October 2018. We then plan on visiting a few key areas before heading back to Aussie land. I can spend about 3 weeks there.

So, what do you guys recommend?

• I will be going to Sweetwater Tn for 2 days as that's where I used to live.
• Vegas is on the list.

If you're in LA, then the LaBrea Tar Pits are amazing. But for a sheer jaw dropping experience, NOTHING CAN COMPARE TO SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with all suggested except Vegas, skip that mess IMO. If out that way, a stop at the Grand Canyon is a must. Some of my personal favorites include Utah's beauty and amazing national park, and Tucson, Arizona and surrounding area.

Way too much to see, so map a route carefully and have a great trip.
