Fantastic meet up at Coopers BMW and test drive event, 15 people had put down for test driving the vehicles that had been provided. These turned out to be an i8, Z4 2litre, 330i saloon, 420d Convertible, X5 and a 840d, unfortunately a M5 had gone out to a potential customer!! After a coffee and registration with Coopers salesman Dean, we were then divided up between the different vehicles. I got the plumb drive of the i8 first with Joe from Coopers in passenger seat to explain all the gubins on dash etc. What a sensation drive that vehicle is, the sound from that tiny 1.5 3cylinder turbo engine is fantastic when you give it the beans (the exhaust tuners have done a great job). After doing a road loop that Coopers use for customer testing, we pulled the vehicles over to swap drivers. I got a drive of all the other cars apart from the X5.
