Cooling system upgrades and general maintenance

Just started working on some backlogged "deferred" maintenance and upgrading the cooling system in my 1.9 Z3. I purchased the cooling system service kit from Turner Motorsport and it came with a Meyle branded water pump. It seems OK in that it has a metal impeller, but I've heard that there is an "upgrade" pump that's a better unit.

Is it worth getting the upgrade GEBA pump and keeping the Meyle unit as a spare?

Meyle are well thought of on here especially with a metal impeller.

Thanks for the reply and the vote of confidence in the Meyle. It appears to be a fairly solidly built all-metal unit.

It gets pretty hot here in Florida and an industrial-strength cooling and air conditioning system are a must!
