My 2004 Z4, has developed a coolant leak, and I cannot figure out where it is leak. The P.O. had a new radiator installed, but she doesn’t know what else they did in the process. I watched a couple of YouTube videos replacing the plastic connections, and it looks quite involved. I think that hose are the culprits, any suggestions?

On my 2003 3.0i M54 engine it was the thermostat housing “O” ring which had failed. Not a hard job to do and not expensive. The clip type connectors rarely fail, unless they’re damaged. When mine leaked it dripped right at the front of the engine, in the centre of the car.

I believe that I found the source of the leak. I think that it is coming from the thermostat housing. even though it might just be the gasket, I will be ordering the complete unit. No sense on talking a chance.
