Thinking of a jap import obviously speedo in kph etc ,seen alternatives such as stickers , dial conversion stickers ,anyone done this ? Which is better thanks...

Dead easy to remove and strip the instruments in a Z3. So I wouldn't use the stickers they always look "tacky".

Tony.

I mean when there are plenty of cars based and registered in the uk, that don't require any work..why would you bother? Jap cars also have their speeds limited..you would also need that doing.

Can’t think I’ve ever seen any UK car in the sort of condition a high grade Japanese car usually arrives in. Some of them literally look new underneath.

Have you seen underside pictures before?

Yep I get that...but, you do know that a lot of the Jap market cars didn't get the same weather protection from the factory? Not sure if this applies to BMWs but its certainly true of other makes.

Check all the rubber and hoses, as I’ve heard a lot of people who buy imports have to spend a fair bit on engines that have a rough idle or low power performance.
