Exciting project, it would be good to see a classic British racing name revived. Infact, if my memory serves me correctly a Connaught was the first British car to win a GP in the post war era. A non championship race, the Syracuse GP.

Actually , it was the first time a British car and driver had won a post war GP on the continent. 1955, Syracuse GP , Sicily.

thanks for the video there op - and nice little link there hard top . i like learning small tidbits about historical stuff. i also love seeing old black/white pictures with old gp cars. something about them is very cool.
