Just read this post attributed to Lewis Hamilton on BBC Sport. All about how he's gone "Vegan", sold his private jet and how no one is bothered about the state of our world. Says it has taken 32 years to realise what is happening. Yet, he is a guy who's millions of pounds have come his way through burning fossil fuels during his work and flying all over to world to get to work. At tad hypocritical Lewis?

I know we joke BUT climate change affects us all. Even our smallest cutbacks matter. Think on, fellow .Z owners. Yep, serious tone. Because we only have one planet!

It does, I agree.

However, selling your private jet must be a real hardship. Especially when you're only going to continue to use someone else's to travel around the world so you can drive around in circles for 2 hours burning fuel.

If he had quit now, or quits at the end of the season stating the same reasons, I may change my opinion.

It was the same last season at the US Grand Prix when he stated he was going to take a knee during the national anthem because other American sports persons had been doing in protest. Not his national anthem to kneel for and he didn't do it either.

He was most probably tucking into a burger as he made the post on Instagram or wherever

Cracking driver but loves his publicity.

Ah, but because modern F1 cars are self-charging hybrids, it makes it all okay.....

I think humans will end up killing each other with the weapons that are available to them long before humans change the climate so badly it kills us all off! IMHO of course!
