Yup...if it fails you get a "30 day" red plate & you have to fix it.

THERMOSTAT!!!!!!!!

The car must have been running just slightly too cold to do the CAT reset test.

New stat... 5minutes at 55 & she was ready...& passed emissions!

Thanks man I’m having the same problem , I cleared all the codes and did a full tune up now I just have to get the computer to reset itself to smog the car . I bought the car from a older man it’s been abandoned for 5 years I’m trying to bring it back to life
