Hi I’ve been a member for about 2 years.im looking for some advice. I’ve recently changed a complete tensioner and pulley. Because I heard the bearings going chips. After replacing it, I’ve now heard. A slight rubbing and ticking noise only on idle When the vanus fan is spinning. But then stops when the fan speeds up. Bizarre. Owned the car 3 years and noise seems worse.maybe also could be coming from power steering pump bearings. As when I spray WD40 on fan and pump bearings it stops. I’ve heard of stopping the fan but really don’t fancy that. Can anyone shine light on this issue. Cheers mat.
