Hi all got a small issue with the Zed that's driving me mad! On start up from cold the old girl hunts terribly, doesn't cut out though and if you start driving straight away its fine, but I like to give her a few moments to warm up a bit and the idle is all over the place until the temp gauge just starts to creep up.
I have done a bit of research and thought it may be down to a dirty Idle Control Valve?? But then digging deeper found all sorts of possible reasons for this! :bashhead:

She's a 98 2.8 Any advice would be appreciated.

First point of call would be to see if there are any fault codes stored, code readers are pretty cheap at the moment! Could be as simple as a cam/lambda/other sensor possibly!

It's worth checking around the air induction hosing for any deterioration or rips as well.
