Coilovers or lowering springs for Z3 6cyl Roadster road use only. Any advice

Look on the web for Eibach Pro springs Frank. You can use these with standard shockers. Is your car currently on standard spec or Sport suspension?

I fitted them on my Z4 after a recommendation from Lee and Gaz, it now looks like this and still on standard shocks.

My car was on Sport Suspension from the factory and as such approx. 15mm lower than standard anyway, these gave about another 19mm drop.

Springs unless you want to invest in quality coil overs. £200 for a set of Eibachs, or £800+ for decent coilovers. Cheap coilovers are just that...

My old Z was on Eibach pro, decent ride to not harsh at all

When I bought my Z3 a few years ago the previous owner had fitted K&W coil overs, these are expensive, but, very good kit. Anywhere in the £1200 to £1400 range.

I had Eibachs and they were great, just not quite low enough for what I wanted. Been on cheap coilovers for a few years, they give me the ride height I want (not so much at the back) but the ride is hard and bouncy at times. If I had the money I would invest in some decent coilovers or even airbags as I prefer looks rather than ride as I don't drive round in it like it's a go kart all the time. I need to do something with the rear soon as it sounds like it's falling apart every time I hit a bump now.

Go for the Eibachs and you won't be disappointed.

Yup. Bilstein B12 pro Shocks and Eibach 30mm lowered springs on mine. Can't make a comparison to others but works for me.

Hi Gaz . Looking at Eibach E2062-140 is this the correct part number for Z3. I will order when I'm sure it's correct part. Thanks to everyone for recommendations an photos

Thanks have bought the Eibach springs ready to install with standard shocks. If I don't like the ride I will upgrade the shocks

I can highly recommend Monroe Reflex shocks with the Eibachs, had them on my last Z and fitted them on the new project, great value
