And a visit to Scotland. I was planning on a couple of hours bimble in my local area but the C-in-C said I'll book a pod in Alnwick if you like. Packed, roof down and gone! 🚀

No particular route other than going over Hartside Pass then cuffed it from there by putting in random minor road routes to Alnwick. Got to the pod, chucked my kit in, coffee then a random route to Hawick via minor roads and came back a different route, again, minor roads for the most part. Food, Guinness, Fire 🔥 and the mighty Z3, what's not to like 😋

Raining this morning when I set off home but got the roof down after 20 miles, again, plotting minor roads where I could. Summer wheels shod with new Michelin Pilot Sport 5s, sweet 😋

385 miles of pure driving bliss on great minor roads for the most part, living life to the max 😀

I’ve gone to Michelins PS and and 5 on the Z3 and the 6 series.
Then Primacy (touring) on the family bus.

Pricing wise there is not as much in as their used to be, especially when Michelins run an offer.
I’ve always run decent brands but these are next level.
Dare I say too much grip on the PS range!

on the bus I’m getting longer life which they claim they deliver, so pleased with the higher up front investment.

Posh camping love that and you can't beat packing the car a fu@#ing off without much of a plan - you've inspired me to do the same 👍

Now I just need to work out my excuse to leave the Mrs at home with 3 kids and the dogs =))
Good luck =))

That looks a brilliant way of spending the weekend Andy:thumbsup:, and great pics. Bet you couldn't believe your luck when the C-in-C stamped your pass and even booked a night away for you.
Have you wondered why she wanted to get rid of you for the weekend? ;)
