Clutch slip

After tackling the small hills (1in4) around Lynton and Lynmouth yesterday I was pulling away from the valley of the rocks cricket ground up the hill and the clutch slipped a bit. Drove on for 10 minutes with no problems. When I stopped I tried pulling away in 3rd gear with handbrake on and it stalled as it should.
Should I be panicking or was it just the harsh effort of the hills heating it all up.

If it slipped, even a little you can be sure it will not get any better. That's not to say clutch failure is imminent but it will depend on how
you treat it.

Gently is the answer as to how I treat it, I have another car that tends to get the harsh treatment 8)
