Clear coat pealing

After the snow melted off the car, I noticed 2 or 3 spots where the clear coat is pealing off the bonnet. It seems that there were some bird droppings deposited just before it snowed and stayed there with the snow on top of them. Now there is a blister there and some of the clear coat has pealed away. I'll probable have to get the entire bonnet repainted but is there a temporary quick fix to keep it from spreading and the paint from being affected?

sorry to hear that!
in some very special cases and according to the skills of the "restorer" it's possible to remake the clear coat with very light signs, but is a Chinese work!
we have again the proof how damaging are the birds droppings, especially when wetted.
the clear coat will not start to peal on other spots, beside the one which are already affected.
try to cover it with something.....(the car)
