Now that we have a bit a time on our hands, i'm going through a few mod ideas. I luckily picked up some metal style handles on fleabay to upgrade the plastics on the car. I'm not really into chrome so i will be looking to colour match the handles and covers to 303.
I will be using the old black plastic trim covers for painting as i'm sure they will be easier to paint. My first question is. How much does the clear coat matter? I have some simple clear coat in the house but i am aware there are different kinds. I have seen an oem set of 303 and clear coat for £25, but seem excessive for 20cm2 of paint and clear coat.
What are peoples experience with the paint match from spray cans from halfords and ebay etc?
As for the handles themselves, looking to go down the route of trying to get some close matching black vinyl wrap to cover the handles black too. Only need 20cm2 of this as well.
