I'm keeping on top of cleaning the Zs sort top :p
Ive just put 1part Milton to 10 parts water in a bottle and sprayed it all over :)
I'll leave it for 10 mins then go and wash it off :)
Then spray the Milton / Water again :)
Then I'm going to clean the Z ;)
Lovely relaxing morning :)
Just hope the rain holds off till later :)

Just come in for a breather :p
It's really hot ;)

Alan has gone to our grandsons footy ;)
Things that have gone wrong .......:)
1st the hose pipe nozzle just broke =))
And I couldn't take the end of the kracher off as I wasn't strong enough
Now I want the sun to go in for half hour so I can use showroom shine :)
The sun can shine all it want to afterwards ;)
But at least I've got a lovely clean hood and a lovely clean car :(
Well nearly ;)

Go on, silly question why Milton I use this to flush my caravan water tank and pipes through at start of season and thought it was a form of bleach. I'd worry it was going to leave a white bleach Mark.
I only ask because I'm new to soft top and to club and I'm learning something new all the time on here.
Do you have to reproof it against the weather at all after cleaning it. Thanks Roger ( Gremlin )

If you have a mouldy roof you need to kill the bacteria and generally soap and water won't do that. If you don't kill it, it will keep growing back again.

So that's were a weak solution of Milton comes in, followed by a thorough wash with whatever hood cleaning product you use. Once you are happy it's clean and decontaminated then you put a proofing agent on top.

Obviously you are best of testing whatever you use to kill the bacteria on a discrete area of the hood first!

EDIT: Also to add that you only really need to go this route if you have mould! Obviously not needed at all unless you have a problem ;)

Milton is brilliant for doing the soft top :p
As long as you test the solution you have made up first :)
1 part Milton to 10 parts water ;)
