I've just spent a glorious afternoon cleaning my pride and joy, unfortunately I had to finish off in the garage as it had gone dark so no photos at the mo.

Anyways, one bit of the car I get frustrated with cleaning is the inner exhaust pipe chrome tips, what do others use please and do you take them off to clean?

p.s. not the outer part - they're lovelly and shiny :)

Gunk and Autosol
Take them off if you can purely because it's easier ;)

I use autosol - which Gunk do you use... foamy, original or heavy duty gel.

That's going to be fun working out what fixing is holding them on, is it likely to be just a pozi head screw? Might put camera underneath 1st :-?

mine has a nut, but its so badly rusted and filled with road dirt it wont come off at all. I used scotchbrite on the inside and some autoglym chrome polish on the outside.
