Evening all.

Now the summer is here I'm in the car more often and the headlights are doing my head in!

I mentioned when I bought the car the previous owner fitted Fly-eye Tint and its left the lights in a bit of a hazy state. I'm not sure if the adhesive has Melted the plastic on the lights or has just left behind some residue.

I've tried wd40 which the Internet says should remove the residue but it's not helped.

Any ideas?

I've also seen that a light sanding might sort it.

Thanks,

Connor.

Hi Connor get yourself a headlight restoration kit something like the meguiars kit. It comes with 3 sanding blocks 2000/3000 and 4000 grit and a polishing liquid follow instructions look like new when done . 1st sand with the 2k looks like you've just destroyed your light but once all steps done look like new . Something I need to do on my van and Amy's Clio.......one day I might get round to it .

As above one of the headlight restoration kits off the shelf will have them looking much better - Autoglym, Meg's and 3M kits all much of a muchness.

Enjoy.

cheers
