I’ve not but have read some review using a clay mit. Positives is that the process is quicker but for deeper contaminants a clay bar is better. The same application of lubricant applies as you can mare the paint but I think that’s a worry for softer paints than BMW. You can even get clay pads for your DA now even quicker but easier to do some damage I can imagine.

ive used a one by mothers. it is quicker, easier and cleaner. I didn't see enough difference to go back to a bar. the way you have to keep folding in the bar is a pain.

Yeah, the comments were mainly favourable, may try one on my daughters car.

I've used the one that @Antm72 used and the results I thought were quite good , used a bucket of car shampoo as the lubricant.

I have one of these, a lot quicker and easier than a bar. Do get a lot of marring though but get that with any type of clay. Just needs a good machine polish after.
the maring just means it needs cleaned.

Are you soaking down the car with a spray detailer? And just let the bar glide don't press on it.
