Thanks all
I will give it a go
If you use a authentic clay bar, make sure with every few passes you stop and fold all the material that it is pulling out of the paint into the clay. Mothers also makes a synthetic clay bar which works well also. Use a lot of lube or detailer to run the bar over. two or three god microfibers on hand. You will be amazed

You will be amazed at the difference. It's much easier and quicker with a clay cloth. I've always suffered with marring after claying any car and it will require a decent polish and wax afterwards. But then it's so much easier to clean and dry once done.
Thanks, I will look at cloths

the more detailing lube you use under the clay bar the easier it glides over the surface. it will slide effortlessly until it grabs contaminates
which is what it is supposed to do. Another thing that will help is using several microfiber cloths. As they get loaded with the detailing that you are using for lube they tend to streak, so always finish with a dry clean cloth with no pressure. Hope this helps.
