Claim to fame

Frankie, in the good old upper crust days of England, aka the "British Empire" players of international football games used to be given an actual head cap to celebrate the event, to day it is a medal and a trophy, but it still gets called being capped.

Unlike the Italian / Bronx version of being capped you may be familiar with........
I thought that was getting "wacked".
 
Maybe Frankie, but whacked has another meaning in the UK too, BMG will no doubt fill us in.......
 
My son g8jka winning the Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters in 2003, not long after playing for the England Junior Golf Squad and being in the School of Excellence.
