Wanted these for a while now, someone said they thought the colour code ones were better, so will keep them and see if I like the look of the chrome more, only seem them in the garage under cover so can't really tell yet.

I have got a set of brand new, never used, OEM BMW that I found in their box in the boot of the car after I bought it.

I thought the chrome gills would look ok ( to me ) on silver, but I have to say they don't. I would put the original gills back and respray the door handles to the body colour. That way the eye, viewing the pure flowing shape of the car would not be drawn to the chrome (bling?) and would continue uninterrupted from nose to tail...... But that's only my opinion.Felt like a million dollars when I was out today they look better when outside.

Going to try the chrome door handles first won't sell anything so as to revert back if I get fed up with the bling. But I have to get it out my system

I have chrome door handles on my Orinico SE and they look good. I think they would compliment your chrome gills nicely in fact I might put Chrome gills on mine now I have seen yours. I also have chrome windscreen trim. Would this changed be classified as a modification?
