Hi folks
We have some spare side gills in silver but want them chrome painted. I know you can buy the paint and do it yourself but my spraying experience has always been awful so I want to get them done professionally.
Can anyone recommend a company in the uk that will do them?
Cheers all
Gareth

Hi
And welcome to the forum
To have them chromed, it would be cheaper to look out for some on ebay
regarding spraying them, I think thats a first

There is a great place called Ashford Chroming company in Kent, they did my oil filter cover and was brilliant, but for the cost, as boysie said, you may as well source some chrome ones on e-bay. ;)

Gareth there was a guy at a show we went to earlier this year - Newby - and he had had most of his engine chromed - it was a sight to behold and he couldn't speak higly enough of the guy that had done it who was apparently in his 60's if I remember.

Anyway, point of post, car was an Evo and I would imagine he is on a forum so maybe worth a search on there - here is the car to help with your search if you choose to try and find the guy.

to the madhouse too ...

chrome paint isnt that bad these days, for the sake of £20 and a few hours of playing about it might be worth having a crack at them yourself. If it comes to it just sell them as badly chromed, shoiuld get the cost of the paints back.
