Hi Geoff, yes its an early Long Door TR2. I have owned it for 10 years now. Had a complete engine rebuild 2 years ago by a chap who builds race engines for classic cars. Now 2200 cc and everything in the engine is balanced. Its not concours but is in excellent condition.

I was a member but they use to always have the show at the same place year after year. They moved it one year and people complained so went back to the same routine. I decided it wasn't for me.

Over the last few years the Register has undergone a lot of re organisation new staff & iweb site i look in now & then as the chap that bought my 4 has joined, a very clever engineer who has got 6 or more classics some which he has completely re built from smashed wrecks and is in contact with member in Norfolk who has bought the Triumph Conrero after spending many years locked away after its return from America and is now giving it a complete strip down/re build.
I would think your car would be of great interest to them for the records
